Recap Games of 11/10/22

76ers v. Hawks

Hawks how we feeling about the uniforms?? I’m really loving the colors and how they are changing it up.

James Harden is out for a month with a right foot tendon sprain. Hopefully he is able to have a successful recovery and we get to see him play sooner then later.

Crazy how they were tied up in the 1st quarter and then in the 2nd some how Trae and the boys came ready to make some plays.

Honestly I’m really digging the 76ers uniforms. I’m loving the simple but sleek red white and blue. The designs of the lettering and the stars too. Super neat.

76ers aren’t backing down to the Hawks and they came out to play as well. Seems like two teams that know how to work well with their teammates. Nothing more I love seeing.

It’s exciting to see two teams come toe to toe. Both teams I have to say have some amazing plays with both teams scoring multiple 3’s. Emiid is so impressive to watch.

So much I could say but the hawks ended the game with Collins hitting a crazy dunk with 104-95.

Hornets v. Heat

Now you know I got so much love for Jimmy Butler. He’s so fun to watch because you can tell how much the man has so much passion and drive to play.  He steps foot on court and is there to deliver and do that for his team every time.

I know they lost their two last games and as you can tell they played their hearts out. They were determined to get a win. Their team seems solid and they know how to work well together. They definitely have a good lineup.

The Hornets mean business and they aren’t going to let the Heat get off so easily. Even though they may be lagging behind they aren’t giving up. The way they play defensively is very impressive.

Both teams honestly have all around great players that know how to play well together and make moves that are necessary to get their team to win time and time again.

The fact they are so close in the 4th quarter has me screaming. This game truly had me on the edge of my seat. Then down in the 4th quarter Jimmy Butler has the ball in is hands and makes it in, takes it 104-102, then they tie it up to 104-104 and take it in to overtime after Rozier misses a 3.

2 minutes in overtime and the score is 109-111. This is the most interesting game I’ve watched. Wow. The Heat ended up winning with 117-112.

Trail Blazers v. Pelicans

Now I’ve always loved watching the Pelicans since Anthony Davis played for them. But Zion…. That’s all I have to say.  I’ve been intrigued with McCollum as well. Coming from Ohio and such.  I’ve never seen someone play with so much passion in them. He has so much in him that you see everytime he’s out there with a ball in hand.

He gets out there, makes plays and leaves it all on the court. So far the Pelicans are up with 10-4 in the first quarter.

Trailblazers are not having it. With Simons out there on the court making 3’s look so effortlessly. I’ve never been in such awe. 2nd quarter ends with 36-44.

Pelicans have a lot of young guys but honestly with Zion on their team, there is no stopping them. McCollum isn’t taking it easy on them. Putting the pressure on them. With the third quarter ending in 76-74.

It’s crazy to watch the movement from both teams. And the game ends with the Trailblazer winning with 106-95.

Mavericks v. Wizards

Games like this make me so excited about basketball. The enjoyment I get watching Luka play gets me excited everytime.

Wizards cherry blossom jerseys are sweet. Something super different but unique. I’m feeling them.

So far the Mavericks are dominating with a easy 22-8 to start off.

I always had my eyes on Kuzma when he played for the Lakers. It’s weird seeing him on a different team but I always feel like he had passion for the game of basketball and really has worked on better at shooting each game.

Impressive to see what the Mavericks will do and I hope they can keep up the momentum through the game.

They start the game off strong and now are toe to toe with the Wizards. Staying at it through the entire game is something they could work on a little. Ending the first half with the Mavericks up 61-57.

In the 3rd quarter it seems like the Mavericks are struggling again with getting behind and letting the wizards lead. Ending the 3rd with 87-83.

4th quarter and Kuzma is constantly making noise with so many 3 pointers. I did not think this is how the game would make a turn, but that’s basketball baby. The Wizards take the lead and win the game with 113-105.
